Innovative developments will be presented in Moscow at the Future Technologies Forum

The Future Technologies Forum, which will be held in Moscow on February 20-21, will present innovative developments that contribute to strengthening Russia's technological leadership.

At the moment about 2 thousand participants from almost 20 countries have registered for the event.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that the forum program will focus on new materials and chemistry. Participants will be able to get acquainted with the achievements of Russian scientists and companies, as well as advanced science-intensive technologies and innovations.

"And within the framework of the discussion we will discuss production, import substitution, import-replacement, development of high-tech chemistry, digital materials science and many other important issues," he said.

The Future Technologies Forum will bring together Russian and foreign scientists, businessmen, government officials and investors to discuss key trends in new materials and chemistry.

On the same day, Chernyshenko declared the importance of projects in the sphere of Russia's technological leadership. According to him, the country is currently among the top 10 countries in the world in terms of research and development.

Before that, on February 4, the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin said that on the eve of the Day of Russian Science young scientists received the Moscow government awards for 2024. The laureates were 78 researchers whose developments have already proved themselves in practice.
