The Soyuz-2.1v carrier rocket will no longer be used for space launches. This was reported on Thursday, February 6, by a source in the rocket and space industry.
As the interlocutor told "RIA Novosti", the launch on February 5 from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome was the last for the launch vehicle of this modification.
The source emphasized that more launches of "Soyuz-2.1v" is not planned.
Earlier, on February 5, the Defense Ministry reported on the launch of the rocket "Soyuz-2.1v" from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. It is noted that the launch was made in the interests of the Defense Ministry.
