Firefighters rescued 50 people from a hostel in Abakan

In the city of Abakan in the Republic of Khakassia firefighters rescued 50 people, including seven children, from a dormitory. About it on February 6 reports the management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Khakassia.

"When the fire brigades arrived at the place of call, smoke was coming from the windows, there was heavy smoke on the floors, required the rescue of tenants from the upper floors", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the department.

It is noted that in the room burned things on the area of 9 square meters. m. The open fire was extinguished in 12 minutes.

The fire was caused by careless handling of fire.
