The French National Assembly did not pass a vote of no confidence in the government from the leftist party "Unconquered France". This was reported on February 5 by BFM TV with reference to the broadcast of the meeting.

"The president of the national assembly has just announced the results of the vote of no confidence. He received only 128 votes, far short of the necessary 288," the publication noted.

It is specified that "Unconquered France" introduced two resolutions after French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou adopted the 2025 budget bypassing parliament.

"The state budget is adopted by the national assembly," emphasized BFM TV, noting that deputies are now considering a second vote of no confidence.
