Filippo called for a tribunal to try Ursula von der Leyen

The head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen and the entire European Union should be sent to a special tribunal. French politician and leader of the Patriots party Florian Philippot wrote about this on February 5 on his page in X (former Twitter).
"Ursula wants to set up a 'special tribunal' against Russia, just when peace is becoming possible! <...> We want a 'Special Tribunal' for Ursula von der Leyen and the EU!" - he declared, calling for accountability.
The politician recalled "Pfizergate", a court case over the EC chief's refusal to publish personal correspondence with Pfizer Corporation executives about the purchase of coronavirus vaccines worth billions of euros. Filippo also added a hashtag to his post urging him to "shut up."
Earlier in the day, Politico wrote that EU countries are "fed up" with von der Leyen's attempts to lead the association's foreign policy. According to sources, the head of the EC did not consult with EU leaders on the decision to announce a partnership agreement with Jordan, as well as the allocation of financial aid to Amman in the amount of € 3 billion.
In early December last year it became known that more than a thousand citizens of the EU countries supported a lawsuit against the head of the EC because of possible violations with vaccines against COVID-19 during the pandemic.
