Russian President Vladimir Putin has supported the introduction of preferential mortgages in Kursk region. The corresponding statement was made by the head of state on February 5 during a meeting with the regional governor Alexander Khinshtein.

Khinshtein suggested considering the introduction of preferential mortgages by analogy with the program operating in the Far East.

"A good proposal, I support it," the President replied.
