Two civilians of Zaporizhzhya region suffered as a result of the AFU attack
Two civilians have been injured in Zaporizhzhya Region as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by the governor of the region Yevgeny Balitsky in Telegram-channel on February 5.
"The enemy continues to carry out terrorist attacks on peaceful settlements of Zaporizhzhya region <...> Two people received shrapnel wounds of varying severity and were taken to Kuibyshev district hospital," - stated in the message.
It is specified that in the village of Shevchenkivske seven private houses and four cars suffered from the attack of the AFU. In addition, a militant drone attacked a private house in the town of Polohy, resulting in broken windows and damage to a minibus standing in the yard.
Earlier, on February 4, the Ukrainian army carried out a drone attack on a school bus in Zaporizhzhya Region. As a result, five children and the driver were injured. They were hospitalized in a condition of medium severity. A criminal case was opened over the incident.
The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
