Hongqi minivan certified for Russia

Hongqi HQ9 business van has received Russian vehicle type approval (OTC). This is reported in the press release of the Chinese company, received by Izvestia on February 5.

At the end of 2023, this model was brought to Russia in a limited edition to assess the potential demand, after which the certification of the model began.
Dimensions of the Hongqi HQ9: 5222×2005×1935 mm, and the wheelbase is 3200 mm. The interior is made according to the scheme 2+2+3, that is, the middle row has two separate seats.

In the Russian market, the minivan is equipped with a 2-liter gasoline turbo engine with direct fuel injection with an output of 245 hp and 8-speed automatic transmission. HQ9 equipment and prices will be announced later.

January 24, Director of Development and Sales Daniil Shkurygin "Auto.ru Business" said that the leaders in the sale of new cars on credit were Moscow and the Moscow region, Tatarstan and St. Petersburg.

The highest level of approval of loans for new cars last year was recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan (above 80%). The Moscow Region ranks fifth in the rating, Moscow with a score of 69% - ninth.
