REN TV was shortlisted for the XII APKiT Award in seven nominations

Today, February 5, the XII Award of the Association of Producers of Cinema and Television (APKiT) published the long list of contenders for the victory. In the expanded list - two projects of REN TV channel.

The project "Alexander the Third" is presented in the category "Best Documentary". Meanwhile, a sharp military-historical detective "Operation Carpathians" claims to win in six nominations: "Best Online Series (7 or more episodes)", "Best Screenplay" - Andrei Zhitkov, "Best Original Music for the series" - Anatoly Zubkov and Egor Zubkov. In addition, the actor Alexander Loye, who performed the role of Plague, is nominated in the category "Best Actor in a Series", his colleague Maria Lisova is nominated in the category "Best Actress in a Series", and Alexei Grishin claims the award "Best Supporting Actor in a Series".

Documentary fiction film "Alexander the Third" from the new series "The Greats" produced by "NMG Doc" tells about the life of the great Russian ruler. He ruled for only 13 years, but during this time he made Russia a powerful economic and industrial power and made the whole world reckon with both the strength of Russian arms and the power of Russian diplomacy. According to Mediascope, the premiere of the film on REN TV on November 1, 2024 was watched by more than 5.9 million people. The number of unique viewers of the project in "VK Video", where the online premiere took place on the same day, exceeded 3.2 million people during the first weekend of the show. This year's APKiT Award presents 162 premiere projects in 25 nominations and about a thousand applicants for personal awards. From them the jury will form a shortlist of nominees for the professional prize by voting.

The winners of the XII Award will be announced on May 13 at the awards ceremony.
