Two men beat up a blind man at a meeting of sommeliers, which took place in a hotel on Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg in early December 2024. They were detained on February 4. This was reported by a source of Izvestia.
A criminal case was initiated on the fact of the incident.
According to the source, in early December 2024 in one of the hotel halls between three men there was a conflict, which later escalated into a scuffle. As a result, a 32-year-old man was hit several times on the head.
At the disposal of "Izvestia" also appeared footage, which recorded the victim lying on the floor after the fight. It is noted that after the incident he required the help of doctors, he was taken to the hospital.
At the moment the circumstances and the cause of the conflict are established.
Earlier in the day it became known that in Yakutia detained a man who tried to stab his friend, and then chased him with an axe. A criminal case was opened under part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("stabbing of his friend"). 1 article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder").
