Russian track and field champion Mark Tolstikhin was detained in Moscow
Russian track and field champion Mark Tolstikhin was detained in Moscow. This was reported by law enforcement agencies on February 5.
"He [Tolstikhin] is on a federal wanted list," they told TASS.
It is specified that the Russian champion was wanted for robbery and theft.
Tolstikhin is a master of sports in track and field athletics from the Smolensk region. He has several victories at Russian championships and other Russian competitions, as well as participation in European and world championships in cross-country and mountain running.
Earlier, on November 5, 2024, hockey player of the Metallurg (Abaza) team Artem Tortochakov died after a fight near an entertainment venue in Abakan. He got into a verbal conflict, during which he received several blows to the head. On the fact of the incident a case was initiated under part 4 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The suspect was detained.
