A separate coastal missile brigade held a training session at a basing point of the North Sea Fleet

As part of the training on defense of coastal facilities and defense of Northern Fleet (NF) basing points, a separate missile brigade held a training session for the divisions of the Bal and Bastion coastal missile complexes (BMC). This was reported by the press service of the Defense Ministry on February 5.

"Today's training we have is disclosed as a training of the division. We practice actions on the direct purpose of the complex. Training is quite often we have. All this is aimed at honing the skills and knowledge already laid down in all officials, so that everyone practiced and honed their skills", - said the head of the calculation of the BRK "Bastion" Vadim.

According to the task of the training, the conditional enemy was preparing to launch a missile attack on the coastal infrastructure of the Northern Fleet on the Kola Peninsula.

With the receipt of the task to defeat the ship grouping of the conditional enemy, the divisions marched from the point of permanent deployment to the training position area.

In the positioning area missileers deployed the complex and prepared it for combat use. After that, the combat calculations were tasked to launch a missile strike against the ships of the grouping of the conditional enemy in the Barents Sea, the calculations performed firing by the method of electronic launch on the target.

Earlier, on February 3, a detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet (PF) consisting of corvettes "Rezky" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" in support of the medium sea tanker "Pechenga" went on a long-distance voyage to fulfill the assigned tasks in the Asia-Pacific region (APR). It is noted that the crews practiced emergency preparation of the ships for combat and campaign.
