Services have named the most popular destinations for March 8 and February 23

The demand for travel on dates around March 8 and February 23 has increased this year, travel services told Izvestia.

Demand for tours with arrivals on February 21-23, 2025 exceeds the level of last year by 7.5%, for March 7-9 - by 19.5%, follows from the data of the service "Sletat.ru".

Tourists plan to travel to Thailand, UAE, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Turkey, China, Vietnam, Cuba, India, as well as within the country. Within Russia, tours to Krasnodar Krai, Caucasian Mineral Waters, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Crimea, Kemerovo and Kurgan regions are most popular for the holidays.

Independent travelers on holidays most actively book accommodation in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi, Esto-Sadka, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Arkhyz, Kazan, Krasnaya Polyana, Dombai, added in the service of online booking of hotels and apartments "Ostrovok". The average cost of a booked night in the country for the holidays is Br6.5 thousand, which is 14% higher than last year (Br5.7 thousand).

It also noted the increased demand for reservations at ski resorts: in Polyana Azau, Krasnaya Polyana, as well as in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Vladivostok.
