Sweden's prime minister called the school shooting the worst in the country's history

The killing of people in a school in Örebro has become the worst mass shooting in the history of Sweden. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the country Ulf Kristersson at a press conference on February 4.

"Today we have witnessed brutal, deadly violence against completely innocent people. This is the worst mass shooting in Swedish history," Breaking News quoted him as saying.

Kristersson also said that the reasons and exact circumstances of what happened are not yet known.

"The time will come when we will know what happened, how it could have happened and what motives might have been behind it. Let's not speculate," the Prime Minister concluded.

On the same day, it was reported that a major police operation is underway in Sweden on school grounds due to a shooting incident. The incident resulted in the deaths of about 10 people. According to the police, gunshot wounds received five people, the extent of injuries is not known.
