In Yekaterinburg in the library named after V.G. Belinsky. V.G. Belinsky returned the book after 106 years. This was reported by the library in the social network "VKontakte" on February 1.

"A resident of Yekaterinburg on January 30 this year brought to our library our own book, which was taken on loan in 1919," - stated in the statement.

It is specified that the book "Attention and interest in learning" was enclosed sheet with a note that the copy was taken in July 1919 and should be returned in a month. The sheet itself was not preserved, but the old stamp remained.

"Why the reader did not return it after one month remains anyone's guess," library officials wrote.

The edition will be re-enrolled in the library's collection and transferred to the department of rare books.

Earlier, on January 31, it became known that in Birobidzhan a new edition of a unique book "A man walked from century to century". It was published to the 90th anniversary of EAO, which the autonomy celebrated in 2024. The compiler and editor of the book Elena Sarashevskaya said that in one collection it was possible to combine stories about people and events of different eras: from the emergence of Cossack settlements to modern history.
