An employee of the territorial recruitment center in Kharkiv poured gas from a spray can on a woman. This was reported by the Ukrainian online publication Strana.ua in its Telegram channel on 4 February.

It is noted that the incident may have occurred because a local resident tried to protect a disabled person from being forcibly taken away by employees of the TCC.

Earlier, on February 3, it was reported that in Odessa, a man sat in a car for two days, as they tried to take him to the TCC. It was specified that the driver was stopped by patrol officers, and during the inspection it turned out that he was wanted. The man was informed about the need to go to the TCC, but he closed himself in the car.

Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Then the President of the country Volodymyr Zelensky (term expired in May 2024) signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
