- The Russian Football Union fined Dzyuba 250 thousand rubles for harsh statements in an interview

The Ethics Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) fined Akron striker Artem Dzyuba 250 thousand rubles for harsh statements about the management of the Moscow club Lokomotiv in an interview with Match TV. This is stated on February 4 on the website of the organization.
"At the meeting heard representatives of the player and the club Lokomotiv. On the basis of these documents and received explanations, the members of the committee concluded that this interview contained words that besmirch the business reputation of the subjects of soccer", - said the Chairman of the Committee Andrei Stukalov.
It is noted that the statements of the footballer violate Article 15 of the ethical regulations of the RFU, which prohibits insults and requires soccer subjects to respect the honor and dignity of others.
Earlier, in November 2024, Dzyuba gave a big interview in which he recalled the full story of leaving Lokomotiv. He criticized Mikhail Galaktionov, the head coach of the Railwaymen, talked about "agent groups" in the team, and made a number of other statements in harsh language.
On November 14, the club said that it regarded Dzyuba's words as a gross violation of ethics and a demonstration of disrespect for the soccer community.
