Moskalkova urged UN to react to AFU attack on bus in Zaporizhzhya region

The United Nations should react harshly to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (AFU) strike on a bus with children in Zaporizhzhya Region. This was stated by Russian human rights commissioner Tetyana Moskalkova on 4 February.
She called what Ukraine had done a crime against humanity and an act of blatant fascism.
"I urge the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child to react harshly to the horrific crimes against civilians," she wrote in her Telegram channel.
Moskalkova was outraged by the silence of the West, which sees the crimes of the Ukrainian military.
"Where is the consistency of international organizations that are obliged to protect the rights of civilians, especially children? Why do the same structures that actively condemn the crimes of the past, today prefer to turn a blind eye to the present?" - she wrote.
The Ukrainian army carried out a drone attack on a school bus in the Zaporizhzhya region earlier in the day. As a result, five children and the driver were injured. They were hospitalized in a condition of medium severity. A criminal case was opened over the incident.
The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
