The registration of participants of the fifth stream of the Moscow "Academy of Innovators" has been completed. This was reported by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Applications for participation in the new stream submitted about seven thousand people - 2.5 times more than last time. 60 percent of them are Muscovites. Developers from St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Sochi and 185 other Russian cities also presented their projects," said Natalia Sergunina.

She stressed that the program also interested innovators from 12 friendly countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Vietnam and Algeria.

Experts selected about 100 ideas for participation in the gas pedal, including a training platform based on artificial intelligence, a monitoring system for the oil industry and dental equipment.
Most of the projects were presented in the areas of information technology, education, e-commerce, medicine and industry.

A student from Sechenov University has developed a portable scanner for diagnosing diseases in the oral cavity.

A team from Nigeria has created an interactive platform that customizes learning materials for each user. Artificial intelligence analyzes students' preferences and progress and suggests suitable content.

A student from the Higher School of Economics proposed a project to create augmented reality applications and websites for parks and museums. Visitors will be able to use interactive navigation, participate in quests and games.

All these projects will be presented at the fifth stream of the gas pedal. It will start on February 7. Lectures, master classes and consultations from experts are waiting for participants. The teams will finalize their products and will be able to present them to potential customers and investors.
