Chairman of the City Duma of Rostov-on-Don Zinaida Neyarokhina announced her intention to resign. This was reported in the press service of the City Duma on February 4.

"During the deputy hearings Zinaida Neyarokhina announced her intention to resign at will at the upcoming regular meeting of the City Duma on February 11," - stated in the message in Telegram.

It is noted that she supplemented her decision with the need to launch the procedure of competition for selection for the post of head of the city in the near future.

Since 2014 is the Chairman of the City Duma - the head of the city.

Earlier, on January 28, the City Council of Rostov-on-Don accepted the resignation of the head of the city administration Alexei Logvinenko. It was noted that Logvinenko resigned at his own request.
