Stops in Tula will be equipped with a special sound system

A special sound system will appear at some public transportation stops in Tula. It will duplicate the sounds of traffic lights and other signals, the press service of the city administration reports.

"Talking" equipment will be installed at five intersections and 10 stops as part of the implementation of the project "Smart City". The measures are aimed at increasing the use of transportation infrastructure by people with poor eyesight.

As noted by TSN24, the same system will equip streetcars. The specific number of vehicles will be specified after their examination by the contracting organization.

At the moment in Tula installed near the stop pavilions 42 electronic boards forecasting the arrival of transport. So far 31 boards are working. They display the route, air temperature and time.

Earlier it was reported that in 2025 in Tula will begin repair of the Orlovsky overpass, which is in a pre-decay condition. The authorities also plan to find funds for the construction of a tunnel under the Red Gate overpass.
