The Russian Armed Forces received the first batch of BMP-3s this year

The High-Precision Complexes Holding of Rostec State Corporation has shipped the first batch of BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles under the state defense order this year. This was reported to Izvestia on February 4 in the press service of the company.

It is specified that the standard equipment of the new vehicles includes modern means of defense that have proved themselves in real combat operations.

"BMP-3 is designed both for general combat and special tasks. The vehicle has a powerful armament complex and is equipped with an automated fire control system," the holding noted.

According to representatives of High-Precision Complexes, all the equipment has passed the full cycle of tests stipulated by the technical documentation. The company also specified that the holding's specialists are constantly working on the characteristics and combat qualities of the vehicles, including relying on the feedback and wishes of the participants of the special military operation (SMO).

The enterprise specializing in the production of BMP-3 continues to work in a special mode - six days a week, in some areas - around the clock.

In addition to infantry fighting vehicles, High-Precision Complexes produces Iskander operational-tactical systems, Pantsir anti-aircraft missile-cannon system, robotic ground systems and other advanced weaponry.

The day before, Rostec reported that the Russian T-90M "Breakthrough" became the most high-tech tank in the zone of the NWO in Ukraine. It is specified that one of the key advantages of the equipment is the latest fire control system, which allows "to effectively hit targets of different types in a rapidly changing environment."

Before that, on December 13, 2024, Rostec named the Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system (HFS) as one of the most formidable types of Russian weaponry. The state corporation specified that the TOS burns everything that can burn. At the same time, it is noted that after its salvo, attacking aircraft meet virtually no resistance.
