A doctor told about the condition of those wounded in the AFU strike on a bus in Zaporizhzhya region

After a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a school bus in Vasylievskyy municipal district of Zaporizhzhya Region, the injured children and the driver were hospitalized, their condition is assessed as moderately serious. This was reported on February 4 by the chief physician of GBUZ Vasilievsky CDB Mykola Lysenko.

"Five injured children and the driver were admitted, the condition of the children is of average severity. Assistance is provided in full," he said.

The chief doctor indicated that three children evacuated to the children's regional hospital of Melitopol. Lysenko added that the children were found to have multiple shrapnel wounds.

In addition, the deputy director of the school, Dmytro Varyanik, said that the bus was hit at 7:45 am, after which the passengers were stunned, but the driver, despite his injuries, managed to park the bus according to all the rules and instructions. The children were then taken to a safe place.

The head of Zaporizhzhya region Yevhen Balitsky reportedabout the AFU strike on the school bus earlier in the day. On the fact of the incident a criminal case was initiated. During the investigation, investigators will establish all the circumstances of the incident and a number of persons involved in the crime.
