The average price of a new car in Russia rose in January


The average price of a new car in January increased by 5.7% compared to December, to 3.94 million rubles. This was reported by analysts of Auto.ru in a press release on February 4.
In 12 regions of Russia (Tatarstan, Moscow, Voronezh region, etc.) the average price increased, and in ten regions, for example, in Krasnoyarsk region, Ulyanovsk region and Stavropol region recorded its decrease.
In January, the crossover Hongqi HS5 is the only one of the officially sold in Russia models in the top ten in terms of average cost reduction. Compared to December, it decreased by 6.3% to 3.89 million rubles.
The Tank 700 SUV (9.3%; 10.74 million rubles) opened the ranking of the most expensive new cars officially presented in Russia over the month. It is followed by the second-generation Haval F7 (4.7%; Br3.23 million) and Sollers ST6 - plus 4%, Br2.6 million.
January 31, it became known that at the beginning of 2025, the warehouses of Russian distributors accumulated about 700 thousand new cars. This figure exceeds the level of the beginning of 2024 almost twice.
