Cavaliers of four Orders of Courage in the selection for the "Time of Heroes" became 18 times more numerous

Interest in additional recruitment for participation in the program "Time of Heroes" among fighters and veterans with managerial experience and necessary knowledge is growing. This was announced on February 4 by First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko at a meeting of the Public Council of the program.

"The share of Heroes of Russia relative to those who applied in the first wave of registration increased by 53.5% and amounted to 51 people, the share of holders of four Orders of Courage increased 18 times, three Orders of Courage - nine times, two Orders of Courage - 47 times. The choice among the most worthy will not be easy. The responsibility is high," he said.

During the meeting, the Public Council also approved the procedure for test taking by the participants of the special operation, who are at the front and can't come to the assessment points for testing. In turn, the rector of the Presidential Academy Alexei Komissarov told about the progress of the program.

"Participants will study territorial planning, social policy and the basics of economic development of territories. An important aspect of the module will be familiarization with the best regional practices - in addition to work in the Management Workshop "Senezh", participants will visit the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and will undergo a series of internships in the Urals and the Jewish Autonomous Region", - he informed.

It is specified that the total number of applications for selection has already exceeded 65.5 thousand.

The launch of the program "Time of Heroes" was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address to the Federal Assembly on February 29, 2024. The Russian leader specified that the participants of the SWO will be given the opportunity to enter leading universities and get a civilian specialty as a priority.

The "Time of Heroes" personnel program is aimed at training leaders to work in state and municipal authorities from the participants of the special operation in Ukraine.

On 24 January 2025, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the "Time of Heroes" program is effective and will continue.
