Moscow City Court keeps blogger Blinovskaya in pre-trial detention

Moscow City Court left blogger Elena Blinovskaya in pre-trial detention. This was reported by the correspondent of "Izvestia" on February 4.
On January 16, Savelovsky district court extended the "queen of marathons" preventive measure in the form of detention until May 2. The blogger appealed against the arrest.
Blinovskaya's lawyers Natalia Salnikova and Bulat Soltakhanov pointed out at the court hearing that their client had been in custody for more than a year, while the judicial investigation had already been completed. The defense considered the next extension of the arrest term unmotivated and unreasonable.
Also on February 4, the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court, which declared Blinovskaya bankrupt. The blogger's lawyer Ivan Morozov insisted on sending the case to the court of first instance, but the judge did not accept his arguments.
Blinovskaya was declared bankrupt on November 13, after which the court started selling her property. December 16, the blogger on this decision appealed.
