Great Wall will start sales of updated Poer pickup truck in Russia

The updated GWM Poer will appear at dealers in the first quarter of 2025. This is reported in a press release of the Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors, received by Izvestia on February 4

Now for the Poer, along with diesel, will be available an additional powertrain option - gasoline. The new motor with an output of 218 hp with a torque of 380 Nm is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The declared average consumption is 10.6 liters of gasoline per 100 km.

In addition, the interior and equipment of the car have been updated. The list of options includes a 12.3-inch multimedia screen, wireless charging, electric drive, ventilation and heating of front seats, climate control and an expanded set of driver assistance systems ADAS, including adaptive cruise control.

The updated GWM Poer will be available in three configurations: one with a diesel engine and two with a gasoline engine. Claimed payload capacity is up to 975 kg, although previously it was artificially low. More detailed information about the car promise to disclose closer to the start of sales.

Earlier it became known that the Kaluga plant "Automotive Technologies" (formerly PSMA Rus) in 2025 plans to produce about 50 thousand cars from machine kits of the Chinese concern Great WallMotor.
