A man who committed three murders was sentenced to 22 years in prison in Moscow


A court in Moscow sentenced to 22 years in prison a man, who committed three murders in the Moscow forest in 2011. This was reported on February 4 by the press service of the Main Investigative Directorate (MID) of the Investigative Committee (IC) in the capital.
According to investigators, in 2011, the man, leading a marginal lifestyle, killed three of his acquaintances of no fixed abode, striking with a stick. It is noted that in order to hide the traces of the crime, the man buried the bodies in a ravine.
"The evidence is recognized by the court sufficient for the verdict against the man guilty of committing a crime under paragraphs "a", "k" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation ("Murder")", - stated in the message of the Department in Telegram-channel.
The IC specified that the man will serve his sentence in a strict regime colony.
Earlier, on January 23, the source of "Izvestia" reported that in St. Petersburg police detained three men who about 30 years ago kidnapped and killed a man in the forest. According to the interlocutor, a criminal case on kidnapping was initiated back in May 1995 after a man born in 1960 went missing. Then it was merged into a single proceeding with a case of premeditated murder. The investigation established that the perpetrators abducted the victim from his home and took him to a forest in the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad region.
