Sobyanin awarded 78 young Moscow scientists on the eve of Russian Science Day


On the eve of the Day of Russian Science, young scientists received Moscow government awards for 2024. The laureates were 78 researchers whose developments have already proved themselves in practice, said the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin in his official Telegram channel.
1332 applications were submitted for the contest. Compared to the previous year, the size of the prize was doubled - from 2 to 4 million rubles.
Among the laureates is Sofya Morozova from MIPT. She has developed methods for producing nanostructured polymer materials for environmentally friendly transportation.
Kristina Skuratovskaya, Anton Budaev and Maxim Makarov invented new types of medical preparations and materials for the treatment of patients with intra-articular pathology of the musculoskeletal system. Their developments are used by surgeons of Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 13 and traumatologists at the Sklifosovsky Emergency Medical Research Institute. Sklifosovsky.
Inessa Lugovaya has created compositions of biostimulants that have improved poultry production indicators, including hatching of chicks and safety of stock. The developments have been implemented at leading poultry farms in Russia.
The prize has been awarded since 2013 for outstanding results of fundamental and applied research. Moscow scientists aged up to 35, doctors of sciences - up to 40 can apply for it.
In addition, Moscow has created a council, which includes 70 prize winners. They act as consultants to the Department of Education and Science of the city and are engaged in educational work. They are involved in such projects as "Scientists to Schools" and the all-Russian festival "Science 0+".
