Specialists have conducted more than 1 thousand studies of fish products from the Black Sea and found no violations of regulatory requirements. This was reported in Rospotrebnadzor on February 4.

"Control over the safety of fish products caught in the Black Sea continues. Conducted more than 1 thousand studies, with no non-compliance with hygienic standards," - reported the press service of the Department.

Rospotrebnadzor emphasized that experts continue daily laboratory monitoring in the emergency response zone in the Krasnodar region and Crimea. Since the beginning of the work was performed more than 2.2 thousand water analyses from sources of drinking water supply and distribution networks. In addition, more than 6.3 thousand atmospheric air and 2.7 thousand soil analyses have been carried out.

At the moment, no exceedances of norms have been recorded, except for the presence of oil products in sea water and coastal sand.

On the same day it was reported that repeated emissions of fuel oil were recorded at 12 sites of beaches in Anapa. Petroleum products were found on the territory of Uspensky, Belorechensky, Mostovsky, Labinsky, Timashevsky, Pavlovsky, Apsheronsky, Abinsky, Starominsky, Slavyansky, Tikhoretsky districts and Krasnodar.

The tankers Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239 crashed in the Kerch Strait on December 15 due to bad weather. 27 people were evacuated from both vessels, one person died. As a result of the incident there was a spill of oil products. Two criminal cases were initiated over the incident.

Two days later, by the morning of December 17, oil products reached the shores of Anapa and Temryuksky district, and then Crimea. On December 26, a federal emergency regime was declared. On January 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the fuel oil spill in the Black Sea one of the most serious environmental challenges for the country in recent years.
