The most cheaper cars in January have been named

In January 2025, the average price of new cars remained almost unchanged, but for some brands and models it has significantly decreased. This was reported to "Izvestia" on February 4 by Avito Auto experts.

Most of all lost in price new cars brand GAC: compared to January 2024, the decrease amounted to 31.7%. In second place are Voyah cars - by 30.9%, the third place was taken by Moskvich (-18.6%), and the fourth - BMW (-17.5%).

Among the models, Voyah Free crossovers became significantly cheaper - by 22.5%. The second and third ranks are occupied by models of domestic production: crossover Moskvich 3 has lost 18.4% in price compared to January 2024, and crossover Moskvich 6 - 18.1%. In fourth place is the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro crossover, the average price of which decreased by 14.6%, and in fifth place is the Lada Largus (down 13.9%).

January 31, Managing Director of Frank Auto Irina Frank said that the increase in recycling fee rates in Belarus to the level of Russian ones may lead to higher prices for cars imported into Russia.

According to her, changes in the utilization fee should eliminate the key factor of gray imports of cars through the neighboring country.

"Previously, the difference in fees allowed importers to save money by offering cars cheaper than on the Russian market. Now this difference will disappear, which may lead to an increase in prices for cars imported through Belarus to the level of official dealers in Russia, as well as a reduction in favorable offers for buyers, who previously used the Belarusian channel to save money," Frank told "Izvestia."
