Over the past 24 hours residents of Yakutia lost about 7 million rubles due to fraudsters. This is reported by YakutiaMedia IA with reference to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The scammers contacted the pensioner on behalf of Energosbyt, FSB and the portal "Gosusluzhby". The woman transferred over 3.5 million rubles to unauthorized accounts. In Mirny, an electrician was interested in the offer of additional income and "invested" 1.7 million rubles. In Yakutsk, a second-year student became a victim of fraudsters. The swindlers, who called on behalf of a cellular operator, swindled 560 thousand rubles.
