Artur Pryakhin, the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) in Karelia, has committed suicide. This was reported by a source of Izvestiya on February 4.
He was found dead near the building of the department on the Varkaus embankment in Petrozavodsk. Pryakhin left a note in which he asked not to blame anyone and apologized to his wife.
"The circumstances are being clarified, we offer our condolences," - said the press service of the UFAS of Karelia.
Pryakhin was appointed head of the department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the republic in February 2014.
