Patrushev visited the Svistiagino waste utilization plant in the Moscow Region


On Tuesday, February 4, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev visited the Svistiagino waste disposal plant in the Moscow Region, which was commissioned in December. Deputy Prime Minister also held a meeting on accelerating the start of electricity supply to the grid from the plant.
Patrushev was reported on the work to certify the new enterprise as a subject of the wholesale electricity market, as well as told about its operating model. Deputy Prime Minister, in turn, drew attention to the importance of financial stability for the effective functioning of "Svistiagino".
It is noted that "Svistiagino", according to the schedule, will be able to start supplying electricity in the second quarter of 2025.
Earlier, on January 30, Rostec reported that Russia's first waste incineration power plant generated almost 2 million kWh of electricity in the first month of operation.
