More than 100 kindergartens and schools will be renovated in the Moscow region in 2025

In the Moscow region in 2025 it is planned to overhaul 119 educational facilities. These are schools, kindergartens, colleges, institutions of additional education and children's art schools.

The Moscow Regional Duma told theonline publication Podmoskovye Se godnya that these institutions were included in the capital repair plan at the request of local residents. It is also planned to tidy up the territories adjacent to these buildings.

According to the head of the regional parliament Igor Bryntsalov, the institutions of additional education were included in the capital repair program from 2024. This was done at the request of parents. It is important that talented creative children had everything necessary for self-realization, concluded Bryntsalov.

Earlier, the Governor of Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov ordered to keep under strict control the progress of repairs in educational institutions.

At the end of November it was reported that a new large school for 1.1 thousand seats will be built in Podolsk near Moscow. It is planned to complete the work in 2026.
