Over the past day, 213 traffic accidents were recorded on Russian roads, in which 24 people were killed and 280 received various injuries. As a result of 56 car accidents involving pedestrians, four people were killed and 54 others were injured, as reported to "Izvestia" on February 4 in the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. Of the total number of accidents involving pedestrians, 26 occurred at crosswalks and 30 - outside their zone of action. Among the victims are 12 child pedestrians, five of whom were injured on the "zebra".

There were 13 accidents involving buses on Russian roads, in which 23 people were injured, including one minor. The cause of eight accidents involving buses was traffic violations committed by their drivers. There were 23 accidents involving children and teenagers under the age of 16, in which 23 young road users were injured, including 11 passengers. One child passenger died.


In Altai Krai, at 266 km of the federal highway R-256 "Chuisky trakt", a woman driver of a passenger car in a prohibited place drove into the oncoming lane, where she collided with an SUV and a truck.
