Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. The units of the "North" group of troops in the Kharkiv direction have defeated the formations of two brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of Volchansk, Kharkiv Region. Russian servicemen destroyed, among other things, four field artillery guns and an electronic warfare station.

The units of the "West" group of forces improved their tactical position. They hit enemy manpower and equipment, including nine field artillery guns, three of which are Western-made, and three ammunition depots.

Also, units of the Southern Group of Forces took more favorable lines and positions. In addition to AFU manpower and equipment, they destroyed two ammunition depots and three electronic warfare stations.

In addition, units of the Center group of forces continued active offensive operations. In this direction, the enemy lost up to 510 servicemen.

At the same time, units of the "East" group of forces continued advancing deep into the enemy's defense and destroyed an ammunition depot of the AFU, while the "Dnipro" fighters destroyed two electronic warfare stations.

The Russian army struck the infrastructure of military airfields, production workshops, places where unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are stored and prepared for launch, ammunition and fuel and lubricants depots of the enemy, as well as concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in 149 areas.

During the day, air defense assets shot down a long-range Neptune guided missile, a shell of the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS) and 68 aircraft-type drones.

In total, 653 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 42,406 UAVs, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 21,023 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,513 MLRS combat vehicles, 21,222 field artillery and mortar guns, and 31,186 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.
