National exhibition of civil aviation infrastructure NAIS will unite more than 140 companies-suppliers of equipment and technologies from Russia, Belarus, China and Iran, it will be held on February 5 and 6, 2025 in Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow. This was reported in the press service of NAIS on February 4.
"More than 140 companies from Russia, Belarus, China and Iran will present at the stands a whole range of the latest samples of machinery, equipment and technologies: from technical lighting to UAVs, from security frameworks to fast-erecting structures, from biometrics to luggage belts, wheeled equipment and much more," the press service said.
A separate sector of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and drone countermeasures will be organized within NAIS for the first time, as well as a "Job Fair" space, where experienced professionals will be able to get acquainted with the vacancies of enterprises, and graduates - with available internships.
The fairgrounds will host awards ceremonies and events for professionals in the program.
The awarding of the winners of two key industry awards of the country - "Air Gateway of Russia" and RUSky Awards for the best airports and air carriers - will take place on February 5. In addition, on that day the winners of the contest of scientific works of cadets and scientists of civil aviation educational institutions, as well as the winners of the creative photo contest "My Aviation" will be awarded.
In addition, on February 5 there will be a plenary session "The growth of air traffic of Russians. Scenarios of domestic and international transportation development". Among others, Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit and the head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov will take part in the ceremonial events and meetings. A number of agreements will be signed.
February 6 will become the day of unmanned aviation within the framework of NAIS - on this day the business program will be devoted mainly to this subject.
Earlier, on January 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the need to "open the sky" for civilian drones in Russia as soon as possible. A ban on their launch was introduced in a number of Russian regions in May 2023. The decision was due to the need to ensure the safety of the airspace.
Also on that day, Putin said that 15 centers of unmanned aviation are already operating in Russia, but in the near future it is planned to open another 48. In addition, the head of state pointed out that by 2030, Russia should become one of the global technological leaders in the field of UAV technology.
In May last year, the Russian government announced the delivery of 990 airplanes for civil aviation needs to air carriers by 2030. The comprehensive development program also envisages reaching the delivery of 20 units per year of SSJ-New aircraft, as well as the creation of MS-21 aircraft up to the possibility of supplying 72 units per year from 2029, with deliveries of the first nine machines starting in 2025.
