A man accused of murdering the general director of a hotel complex has been arrested in Kamchatka, Russia.

The man accused of committing the murder of the general director of a hotel complex in the Kamchatka region has been taken into custody. This was reported on January 4 by the investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the region.

"He is accused of committing a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the agency.

According to the SU SK RF, the suspect was taken into custody. At the moment the details of the incident are being established.

The incident occurred on February 3 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It is established that the 67-year-old co-founder of the hotel complex, being in the office of the 45-year-old general director, because of animosity and against the background of a conflict on the issue of organization and financial activities, shot from a hunting smooth-bore firearm at the victim, after which he reported the deed to law enforcement authorities. A criminal case was initiated on this fact.
