In Vladimir, 16 people will be convicted for organizing illegal migration

In Vladimir, 16 people will be sentenced for organizing a channel of illegal migration for foreigners to the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Russian Interior Ministry in Telegram-channel on February 4.

As a result of searches, one of the perpetrators was found illegally stored ammunition, which is suitable for the production of shots.

Depending on the role and degree of participation, nine defendants in the case are charged with organization of illegal migration as part of an organized criminal association, while the rest - by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.

The materials of the criminal case together with the indictment amounted to more than 150 volumes. Soon they will be considered by the court.

The attackers from 2019 provided illegal stay and employment of foreigners in the Vladimir region. The defendants used forged documents to legalize migrants and their employment at enterprises in the region. In the spring of 2023, law enforcers put an end to their activities. The leader of the group and 12 participants were detained, six of whom were citizens of neighboring countries. Later, the police came out on three more criminals.

Earlier, on January 29, it became known that the residents of Kirov region helped about 100 foreign nationals to legalize illegally in Russia. The women assisted the migrants in passing exams in Russian language, history and basics of legislation.
