Air defense means destroyed an air target over the Azov Sea waters

At night, air defence forces eliminated a Ukrainian long-range guided missile Neptun over the Azov Sea. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 4.

"During the past night, the Ukrainian long-range guided missile "Neptune" over the waters of the Sea of Azov was destroyed by on-duty air defense means over the waters of the Azov Sea," - informed the press service in the Telegram-channel of the department.

Cruise missiles "Ruta" and "Peklo" could be used in a large-scale raid on our territory.

Earlier, on February 3, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 70 unmanned aer ial vehicles (UAVs) of the AFU over Russian regions during the night. The agency specified that 27 UAVs were eliminated over the Rostov region, 25 UAVs - over the Volgograd region, seven - over the Astrakhan region, five - over the Voronezh region, four - over the Belgorod region and two - over the Kursk region.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
