Russian hockey players of the professional club "Florida Panthers" Sergei Bobrovsky and Dmitry Kulikov together with teammates visited the White House and met with U.S. President Donald Trump. This was reported by the newspaper Sport-Express on February 3.

"During the honoring of the NHL champions of the season-2023/24 Panthers presented Trump with a golden stick, as well as two hockey jerseys with the numbers "47" and "45-47", which denote the first and second presidential terms of Trump," - the newspaper reported.

Sergei Bobrovsky began playing for the team in 2019. And Dmitry Kulikov returned after a break in 2023 - before that he had already played in the Florida lineup from 2009 to 2016.

Earlier, on January 30, hockey player Sergei Bobrovsky came in second place among Russian goalies in the number of "dry" games in the NHL after the victory of the Florida Panthers over the Los Angeles Kings. Bobrovsky was able to deflect 29 shots on his goal and was named the first star of the game.
