MEP talks about blocking sanctions against Russia

Slovakia intends to block the adoption of the 16th package of European sanctions against Russia if Ukraine does not resume Russian gas deliveries through its territory, MEP Ľuboš Blaha told Izvestia.

"Not only can Slovakia do it, but I am convinced that if Ukraine continues to block gas transportation through its territory, our Prime Minister Robert Fico will do it," the MEP told Izvestia.

Earlier Bloomberg wrote that it is discussed the inclusion in the 16th package of restrictions on imports of gas and aluminum, disconnection of new banks from SWIFT and restriction against dozens of tankers.
