In Odessa, police officers still managed to bring to the military enlistment office a man who had been hiding from them in the car for two days and refused to come out. This was reported on February 3 by the patrol police of the Odessa region in Telegram-channel.

"During the check of documents it turned out that the person is wanted under Art. 210 ("Violation by persons liable for military duty or conscription of the legislation on military duty and military service"). Therefore, the person was asked to proceed to the RTCC. However, the man closed himself in the car and did not comply with the orders of the police", - stated in the published record.

It is reported that the young man was first taken to the hospital, after which he was handed over to the military enlistment office. It is also known that he tried to seek help from lawyers and other people who tried to talk to the police and get him out.

"The man who locked himself in the car was escorted to the hospital and handed over to the RTCK and SP", - reported later in the Department.

Earlier, a Ukrainian prisoner of war told about the practice of forced mobilization into the ranks of the AFU. According to him, he was unfit for service, but at the age of 48, despite all his diseases, "became fit". He was assigned to a tank brigade and sent to the front line five days later.

On January 25, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Sofiya Fedina, said that musicians of the Lviv military orchestra would be sent to the front line to join the infantry. At the same time, she said that police officers, investigators and retired law enforcers "who have training and know how to use weapons" are not on the front line.

Ukraine has been under martial law since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization, its effect has been repeatedly extended. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on toughening mobilization.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
