Sergunina told about the program of Moscow's cultural venues for the Day of Russian Science

Moscow museums, libraries and cultural centers have prepared master classes, quizzes and film screenings in honor of the Day of Russian Science. The program will begin on February 6. On February 8 and 9, the festival "Loud Voice of Russian Science" will be held in Zaryadye Park, and at VDNKh - a series of informative classes and excursions, said Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"Muscovites and tourists will get acquainted with domestic scientific achievements, listen to lectures by leading scientists, watch documentaries, learn more about plants and living organisms. We invite everyone interested", - said Natalia Sergunina.

The festival in "Zaryadye" will be held in the scientific-cognitive center "Zapovednoe embassy". As part of it, an interactive show will be held. In the lecture hall will tell about the search and creation of new materials, the world of animals, scientific discoveries in the field of quantum technologies. Among the speakers are leading experts from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology.

More than 10 events were prepared in the Atom Museum at VDNKh. Among them are excursions, meetings with specialists and informative classes. For example, on February 8, children and their parents will turn into engineers, play a board game, get acquainted with the device and work of a nuclear power plant.

The program of the center of modern technologies "Biotech Museum" includes - Documentary film screenings, master class "Art in a Petri dish". Listeners will learn about the role of microorganisms in research and art, the history of bio-art and the creation of unusual paintings in Petri dishes.

A special program has been prepared by the K.A. Timiryazev State Biological Museum. On February 8, the events will be held on three sites of the museum at once: on Malaya Gruzinskaya Street, in the pavilions of VDNH № 31 "Geology" and № 28 "Beekeeping". There will be excursions, lectures and classes with chemical experiments.
