Russian base stations launched in Kuban for the first time

Russian-made LTE base stations have been launched in the Krasnodar Region. This is the first large-scale launch of such facilities in the country, the press service of the regional administration reported on Monday, February 3.

The project was realized thanks to the Ministry of Digital Economy. According to the regional authorities, its successful implementation proves the competitiveness of domestic developments and the readiness of the industry to create a modern and reliable infrastructure.

As KrasnodarMedia IA notes, about 200 such base stations have already been installed in Russia. Within a year, the country plans to launch another thousand telecommunication facilities.
