The doctor spoke about the impact of tanning on the human body

There is no benefit in tanning beds. Cosmetologist, dermatologist Natela Grishina told about it on Monday, February 3. She refuted the myths that artificial ultraviolet light contributes to the production of vitamin D, strengthen immunity, improve mood and prepare the skin for the effects of sunlight.
"Unfortunately the radiation in a tanning bed is 100 times higher than from the usual baking on the beach or at sea. And ultraviolet is dangerous because it affects the body, the cells, the DNA levels. It is able to produce cell mutation and cause malignant formations", - emphasized the specialist in conversation with "Radio 1".
According to the beautician, the abuse of ultraviolet can lead to the development of cancer, which is dangerous.
"Solarium emphasizes some beautiful body contours, hides volume deficiencies. But as far as skin quality is concerned, photo-aging worsens. The body is damaged and cancerous diseases develop - not only skin," Grishina concluded.
Earlier in the day, Director General of the National Medical Center of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of Russia, chief freelance specialist oncologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, President of the Association of Oncologists of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and RAO Andrey Kaprin said that the first place in the rating of first detected malignant neoplasms (MND) are skin diseases - 13.62% of all MND.
January 30, dermatologist Ekaterina Kandinskaya told about five key signs by which you can recognize moles that can degenerate into skin cancer, reports 360.ru.
Earlier, oncologist Arthur Bohyan said that in recent years an increase in the number of skin cancers is recorded. He specified that during the last 15-20 years there has been a tenfold increase in the incidence of skin cancer, reports NSN.
