In the Czech town of Brdy in a landscape park, beavers built a dam in a few days, saving the authorities $1.2 million in costs and seven years of construction. This was reported on February 1 by the Internet portal money.pl.

"The beavers beat the humans and completed the project to restore the area, which had been planned for years. The dams built by the animals made it possible to swamp the area, saving up to $1.2 million," the material stated.

In addition, it is reported that the plan to build a dam in the park Brdy authorities approved back in 2018, but the necessary documents were collected only now.

The material notes that the animals chose a drainage channel for the construction, which was intended to drain the territory and was identified for construction by the authorities, but the beavers beat them to it.

Earlier, in April last year, beavers built a dam in flooded Orsk. The animals collected sticks for the dam near a five-story building surrounded by water.
