Works by the finalists of the "Picture of the World" contest will be exhibited in a branch of the Tretyakov Gallery

The works of the finalists of the international contest of young artists "Picture of the World" will be exhibited in the branch of the Tretyakov Gallery in Kaliningrad. Innopraktika's project was created to unite national values of different nations as part of global culture.

"Young people will look for unifying moments, on the basis of which dialogs of our cultures are built - such cultural diplomacy. Of course, it is very important for young artists that their works - finalists - will be exhibited in the Tretyakov Gallery. There will be a total of 14 finalists in a three-stage selection process. First, 100 works will be selected, then 50 and 14 finalists by voting," said Natalia Popova, First Deputy Director General of the non-state institute Innopraktika.

Any artist between the ages of 18 and 35 can take part in the contest. At the moment creative young people from almost two dozen countries have joined the "Picture of the World", 190 works have been submitted for the contest. Acceptance of applications will continue until March 1.
