Two people injured in shooting at Paris train station


Two people were injured in a shooting that occurred at a train station in Paris. This was reported on February 3 by Agency France-Presse (AFP) with reference to local police.
"Two people received gunshot wounds," the agency's Telegram channel said.
According to AFP, the shooters were members of the Transportation Security Service. According to Le Parisien, they noticed a suspicious man and tried to detain him. The criminal pointed a moulage gun toward the law enforcers, after which the police opened fire.
"The man was seriously injured (according to our data, at about 15:00 emergency services were diagnosing his cardiovascular system), and the second man, who was not involved in the incident, received lighter injuries to his leg," the newspaper said.
Earlier, on January 28, Fox News television channel reported the death of two people in a shooting at Martin's supermarket in the American city of Elkhart, Indiana. It was specified that the attacker was killed by police officers who arrived at the scene.
